Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan

What Rawalpindi is known for, and what it means for your bid.
Rawalpindi is Islamabad's twin city and draws on the same pool of talent. It has a large community of independent freelancers and small agencies. Many of them work in the busiest Upwork categories, where the first few lines of a proposal decide whether the client reads the rest.
Web & software development
What clients screen forA finished project in the same stack, and some sign that you read the technical brief properly. Clients in this category have often been let down by a developer who said yes to everything.
How we open the proposalName the stack and the hardest part of the brief in your first two lines. Link one build that's close to it and say what the first milestone would deliver.
Digital marketing & SEO
What clients screen forProof of a result on a similar account, with the starting point shown. Marketing clients are wary of screenshots with no context, and of anyone who promises rankings.
How we open the proposalOpen with one thing you noticed about the client's own site or ads. Follow it with a past result, before and after, and say what you'd check in the first week.
Virtual assistance & customer support
What clients screen forReliability, overlap with their working hours and good written English. These clients are hiring for the long term, so they read a proposal for care and aren't looking for flair.
How we open the proposalSay which hours you cover in the client's time zone and name the tools from their brief that you already use. Then describe one process you ran from start to finish for a past client.
When Upwork's clients start work, in Rawalpindi time.
